STEPS Group launches SEE Program

STEPS Group officially launched its free Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program this week, offering a new pathway for those looking to enhance their knowledge.

The program is aimed at giving people the opportunity to improve their language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills through individually contextualised learning.

“With expertise formed from providing training opportunities for almost 20 years, we are incredibly proud to offer inclusive and engaging course content, practical and inspiring work and learning experiences, and access to qualified, dedicated and passionate trainers,” Carmel Crouch, Managing Director of STEPS Group said.

“Here at STEPS, we believe that when people enrol in a course, they join a community like no other.”

STEPS has a proven track record in parts of Northern Queensland the Northern Territory, successfully creating meaningful outcomes for students and providing them the skills needed for further study and employment within their communities.

“It is such an honour to expand this program and bring these life-changing learning opportunities to the people of Bundaberg and the greater Wide Bay,” Ms Crouch said.

Through STEPS’ SEE Program, participants can learn the skills necessary to build a pathway to employment, go further in their current job or build their confidence to undertake further study.

Eligible participants can begin their learning journey and take advantage of the free courses offered through the SEE Program by applying online via STEPS Group’s website.

With the unemployment rate down at a record low of 4.4% only the truly needy will be unemployed right now to use a course like this to enhance there chances allowing a focused approach like never before to upskill. There’s unfilled jobs everywhere as well right now Bundaberg is not hit hard by interest rates due to low housing & rent prices. Once there trained enough to get running they should rapidly find work.
