Bundaberg Regional Council will be upgrading the existing culvert between Kokoda Steet and Kennedy Street by installing new precast pipework into the existing pipes.

The road will be partially closed at times with detours and signage in place to direct traffic around the affected area.

Access to private properties adjoining the work areas will be maintained during the construction period.

The rehabilitation work is due to start early September and carried out between 6 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday, with work, if required, also taking place on weekends.

Residents and commuters should anticipate changes to traffic conditions and possible delays during this period.

Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by the end of the month.

Bundaberg Regional Council is aware of the inconvenience construction work causes and thanks residents and road users in advance for their patience and co-operation.
