There will be no bowls played on Friday due to the Christmas Lunch being held from 11.30am at the Sports Club, Miller Street.
MIXED PRESENTATION DAY Saturday 14th December:
Is your name on the list for our presentation day? Play will start at usual time of 1pm, followed by a BBQ tea and presentation of trophies. The Christmas Raffle will be drawn.

COMPETITION
All 2025 competitions are now completed. Thank you to all members for cooperating and making themselves available to complete the competitions in a timely manner.
The 2025 Competition Winners Badges will be presented to players at the AGM on the 14th of December.
SOCIAL BOWLS EVENTS
Visitors are most welcome on all playing days. Entry sheets are at the club or phone the Club on 41514217 during opening hours. If you cannot get through to the club number regarding bowls, then please phone 0403531304.
Tuesday 10th December: 50/50 day – where 50 percent of the green fees for the day is returned as prizemoney. Open Pairs. Men’s, Ladies, Mixed. Names in by 12pm, green fees paid by 12.30pm for a 1 pm start.
Thursday 12th December: Night Bowls – bowls start at 6.30pm, names in by 6pm. Bowl under lights and enjoy a fun filled night with a chance at the ‘Pick the Joker’ Jackpot which will be $728+ this week. Visitors and those that want to try bowls for the first time will be made to feel very welcome.
Friday 13th December: Open Pairs – Men’s, Ladies, Mixed. Names in by 12pm, green fees paid by 12.30pm for a 1 pm start.
Saturday 14th December: Whalley Family sponsored “Break Up’ Day. Over $2000 in sponsorship including 18 Hams as bowls prizes. This day is open to all bowlers/visitors/ members from other Clubs. The game will be 2 bowl triples with bowls commencing at 12.30pm. There is a nomination sheet at the Club. There will also be a continuous raffle with 10 prizes including some hams. Free BBQ (steak sandwich) after the game. Everyone welcome. Don’t forget the Men’s AGM starts at 11.00am.
COMING EVENTS
Saturday 14th December: Men’s Bowls Section AGM and presentation of competition winner’s badges. AGM starts at 11am. Nomination sheets for 2025 Committee positions are on the noticeboard.

CLUB NEWS
Club opening hours: Monday (Club closed), Tuesday 10am – 5.30pm, Wednesday 11.00am – 9.30pm, Thursday 2.00pm – 9.30pm, Friday 10.00am – 9.30pm, Saturday 10.00am – 6pm (10pm for Functions) Sunday Bowls Days 9am – 2.00pm.
The Goose Club raffle will be drawn on Friday night 13th December at 7pm – Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased during the week from the Bar staff or on Friday night. There are 15 great prizes to be won – you need to be in it to win it! Proceeds from the raffle help to support your Club.
The Member’s Draw will also be held on Friday night 13th December and stands at $230, so come along, have a meal and a few drinks with the chance to win some great cash and prizes.
There will be live entertainment on Friday 13th December presented by Vette English and the following Friday 20th December entertainment will be provided by ‘The Other Bloke’. Members, Guests, and Visitors are always welcome.
