Bundaberg Region residents are being encouraged to make a difference and join a team to help clean up local parks, beaches, bush, land and streets this Clean Up Australia Day.

Local producers and businesses are being called upon to showcase their goods at the annual Taste Festival Farmers Market, to be held at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct in August.

On Sunday the Bundaberg Multiplex will be a hive of activity as the 11th Move It Expo showcases everything from local sporting clubs to health and wellbeing providers, with special guest Surfing Scientist Ruben Meerman to also present to the crowd.

Queensland Ballet is bringing community classes to the Bundaberg Region this week, with dancers of all skillsets, ages and abilities encouraged to take part.

It was a weekend full of hot competition as one thousand touch football players and their families crowded Greg Duncan Touch Football Fields for the annual Bundaberg Cup.

For 14 years Bundaberg Bowls Club’s Alan Edgerton has been helping to secure funding to benefit the not-for-profit organisation by applying for community grants.
