The inaugural Milbi Festival will be held in the Bundaberg Region from 15-24 November 2019 as a celebration of turtles and culture.
The festival will celebrate our region’s iconic turtle encounters, connecting to salt water and freshwater country.
It encompasses the broader complementary themes of environmental care, connection to the Southern Great Barrier Reef, water catchments and local storytelling.
Turtles, arts, culture and Indigenous heritage are the foundation pillars for this unique festival that will celebrate the identity, spirit and livability of the Bundaberg Region.
