The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is scheduled to start bitumen resealing works on 1 March in the Bundaberg Regional Council area.
The works will occur progressively along sections of the following roads:
- The Cedars Road
- Goodwood Road
- Elliott Heads Road
- Bundaberg-Bargara Road
- Bundaberg-Port Road
- Bundaberg-Gin Gin Road
- Isis Highway (Bundaberg-Childers)
- Isis Highway (Childers-Biggenden)
Works will occur between 6am and 6pm and are expected to be completed by mid-April, weather permitting.
The Department says traffic controllers, lane closures and speed restrictions will be in place as required, with every effort made to minimise disruptions during peak times.
Motorists should factor in additional travel time for their journeys.
