Bundaberg Regional Council recently resolved to invite expressions of interest (EOI) for the sale or lease of the Bargara Administration Building and Cultural Centre.
However, recent community consultation determined more time was preferred to allow groups with an interest in the buildings to explore the potential for joint expressions of interest.
This provides more opportunity for smaller community groups to partner with larger community and commercial organisations to prepare joint EOIs which is an initiative supported by Council.
Council is keen to facilitate this outcome by running two forums during March to connect organisations interested in the buildings to assist the EOI process.
Pre-market workshops
Council will hold two additional workshops covering:
• Overview of EOI process, including what will be required in EOIs, release and close dates
• Short presentations by proponents intending to submit EOI
• Informal opportunity to network and discuss joint EOI opportunities
