Connor Stockland five jobs created
Connor has opened a second Bundaberg store at Stockland and employed five extra people.

Five new jobs have been created as men's clothing business Connor shows confidence in the regional economy by opening a second Bundaberg store.

A new outlet opened this week at Stockland in the former Sanity site.

Veronikka Porter has moved from managing the established Hinkler store to take up the reins at Stockland. She has spent more than six years with Connor at Hinkler, three as manager.

“Between both stores we are employing a total of nine staff, two managers and seven casuals,” Veronikka said.

“There are five new people coming on board and four existing staff, including new manager Jodie Hinkley, who is taking over the Hinkler Central Store.

“She brings with her 28 years of retail experience, four of those years in a leadership role.”

Veronikka said Connor was having a 20 per cent off storewide sale, ending Sunday, 24 March.

“Sales are doing incredibly well in the Hinkler Central store,” she said.

“Connor is a rapidly growing business with 157 stores nationwide and no plans of stopping.”
