Fantastic Furniture is preparing to celebrate the grand opening of its new Johanna Boulevard store on Saturday, 27 April.
After months of construction, the business is now trading and invites everyone to attend the opening celebrations next week.
A Fantastic Furniture spokesman said the grand opening would feature something for the whole family and plenty of bargains.
“We will have a huge range of opening specials across our great range of lounge, bedroom, dining and kids furniture ranges,” the spokesman said.
“Additionally, we will have free snow cones, jumping castle and activities for kids, as well as free coffee and a barbecue for the adults.”
The Bundaberg opening marks the 79th store on Fantastic Furniture’s ever-increasing list.
“Queensland is a special market for us. We really believe in providing the regional cities and towns of Australia with quality affordable furniture,” the spokesman said.
“We’re super excited to be opening in Bundaberg and can’t wait to meet everyone at our grand opening!”
Positivity and growth
The development application for the furniture store was ticked off last year, coinciding with the approval of other major projects along the Johanna Boulevard area.
Bundaberg Mayor Jack Dempsey said the store's establishment was part of a surge in the area that shows positivity and growth.
“Johanna Boulevard has attracted more than 10 new business in the past two years,” he said.
“From charity shops to car washes, smaller locally owned businesses and major retailers, it's definitely an area that's thriving.
“This means only good things for Bundaberg including more job opportunities and more reasons for people to shop locally.”
Fantastic Furniture’s grand opening event will be held on Saturday, 27 April from 9am.
