Walker Street are gearing up for another great show this weekend.

They are known around town for their high-energy performances and great song choices that will have you rocking out into the night.

Walker Street have been playing the Bundaberg pub scene for the last couple of years after the band was created by two life-long friends, Matt and Joel.

The two mates had been in and out of the music scene since high school before they decided to focus their efforts on Walker Street.

With the addition of Mic Bazley (lead vocals) and Tony (bass guitar, keyboards, backing vocals and spiritual adviser), the line up was complete and has stayed rock solid for the past three years.

Mick, who is a regular around Bundaberg as a soloist, was in several highly successfully pub bands before moving to the region, including a a long stint in a Cold Chisel/Jimmy Barnes touring tribute show.

His years of preforming and his unique style of screaming lends itself to a hard-rocking Aussie band.

Walker Street performance

Walker Street will be returning to the BCC Festival and Preptastic for the third year.

The festival kicks off this Saturday 18 May from 9 am to 2 pm and features a market lane with a variety of unique speciality stalls, amusement rides for all ages, free face painting, interactive children's activities, festive feast square and of course, a great performance from Walker St.
