The Business and Careers Showcase will bring local business people to connect with one another.

Local businesses are being encouraged to come along to this year’s new-look Business and Careers Showcase being held at the Bundaberg Multiplex on Thursday.

With more than 65 exhibiting businesses, the Showcase will provide a unique opportunity for local business people to connect with one another, to find the latest information to help them in running their businesses and to explore locally available products and services.

The event also provides an opportunity for members of the community and students to meet with local business owners and to explore available career pathways that on offer.

2019 is the first time that the Business Showcase and Careers Expo have combined forces.

The free event will be bring high profile guest speakers to Bundaberg, including Brad Seymour, Co-founder of Wizard Homeloans and Aaron Birkby, Tech Entrepreneur and CEO of Startup Catalyst.

“This event is about connecting businesses with the community and providing opportunities to learn and network,” Marcus McCormick, Manager, Bundaberg Business Enterprise Centre said.

“We are really excited about the high calibre of speakers that we have arranged who will share insights into how to grow a successful business, how to address business challenges and how to motivate yourself and your team in moving your business forward.”

The Business Showcase opens at 8 am on Thursday 23 May at the Bundaberg Multiplex with a presentation from keynote speaker Brad Seymour.

Members of the public are invited to visit the 65+ exhibitors at any time throughout the day and to attend the noon speaker session with Aaron Birkby or the Bundaberg Newsmail Networking Evening at 6.15 pm.
