EARLIER: Gin Gin will be a hive of activity this weekend when the town's 110th annual show opens on Saturday at 8am with a range of exhibits and entertainment.

“This is a great weekend for the whole family to enjoy,” Gin Gin Show Society president Kerryn Flanders said.

“There will be two full days of fantastic entertainment including live music, sideshow ally and more.”

Kerryn said show-goers could would be treated to two full days of ring events including horses, stud cattle and more.

“We also have the pavilion full of fruit and veg, quilting, arts, woodwork and more,” she said.

“Saturday's activities will also including pig racing ccompetitions, a twilight woodchop and fireworks display from 7.45pm.”

Kerryn said Sunday would be focused on family fun, with a ute muster and wood chopping events showcased.

“There will also be gladiators and a rodeo just for kids,” she said.

The 110th show will officially open from 8 am but horse event will be held from 7 am.
