Antonio Kaufusi says round 13 could be the turning point in the season for many teams with the battle between Pearce and Munster making Storm v Knights his match of the round.
Round 13 may be seen down the track as a big turning point in the season.
The Roosters lose three in a row. Souths lose back to back and three of the four bottom clubs all record victories.
My match of the round is the Storm v Knights. The Knights have won 6 in a row and have had some massive scalps in defeating some of the premiership favourites, in the Roosters and Souths just to name a few.
The Knights take on the ladder leading Storm in Melbourne. They will take on a full strength Storm team that wont be affected by Origin as the teams will be named after this week's fixtures.
Pearce and Munster in Origin audition for Storm v Knights match up
Pearce is the man of the moment. His battle against Munster could be an early audition for Origin II. I can't remember Pearce being in as good form in his career the way he's playing at the moment. This is the game that could see him back into the Origin Arena.
The forward pack of the Knights were so impressive against Souths led by Daniel Safiti, with the absence of Klemmer, their forward leader, have stood up against some of the best packs in the comp. Knights will definitely use this game to see where they really stand.
Playing Melbourne in Melbourne is one the hardest road trips for any team. I'm leaning towards Storm purely because they are at home and like I've said before, I cant back against family…. Storm to win by four.
My upset of the round is the Broncos to bounce back against the Eels away. Broncos were terrible against the Titans and the Eels, well we just don't know what team will turn up.
