Todd Keightley said his biggest influences were Tracy Chapman and Pearl Jam.

Realising his love for music at the age of six, Todd Keightley practised his singing before beginning his music career by booking his first solo gig at the tender age of seven.

When he was just 13 years old he decided that it was time to recruit some mates and form a band, this solidified his future.

Todd has been performing as a soloist, duo or in a band all over Queensland, Northern NSW and Sydney for the past 30 years.

Currently Todd does not have a band or a duo he says he’s “happy doing the solo thing for a while”.

The biggest influences in his music career is Pearl Jam and Tracey Chapman.

When asked to describe his style of music, he said it was “alternative acoustic folk/rock”.

If you want the chance to hear him sing his favourite song Creep by Radiohead then head on down the South Kolan Hotel tonight at 7 pm.

He will also be at Bucca Hotel from 1 pm on Sunday.
