This week's gig guide shines the spotlight on versatile local singer Tahli Thomas whose favourite songs are Tennessee Whiskey, anything by the Dixie Chicks or Fleetwood Mac.
Tahli Thomas has been singing her whole life, but after moving to Bundaberg she joined group vocal classes, which is when she really started getting serious.
Tahli has been performing live for the past five years.
Between school and other commitments, the biggest challenge for Tahli is finding time to practice and build a repertoire.
The youngsters' biggest influence growing up was Taylor Swift.
“I loved how she wasn't restricted to signing just one genre” Tahli said.
Tahli sings a wide range of music in terms of genres.
She can perform country, pop, a little bit of rock – both old and new.
“I have quite a few gigs booked going into the end of the year so I'm just going to focus on them as well as graduating year 12”.
Tahli's favourite songs to perform are Tennessee Whiskey, anything by the Dixie Chicks or Fleetwood Mac.
She gets a lot of requests for Fleetwood Mac and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
