The popular kiosk at Bundaberg Surf Life Saving Club is up for lease, providing a rare opportunity for a genuine sea change.
The current operators of the venue with a great view are finishing up on 29 July.
President of Bundaberg Surf Life Saving Club, John McGregor, said the coffee kiosk is available for lease after construction work, which will be taking place until mid-August.
John recognised the contribution the previous operators made in creating a successful, relaxed and busy cafe.
He hoped that the new lease holders of the space would continue that tradition.
“We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced people who would like to lease this space as a coffee shop,” John said.
“The coffee kiosk will close on July 29. After this the ceiling will be replaced in the coffee shop.
“These improvements are expected to be completed by mid-August, so we anticipate a start date for coffee shop trading to be early September.
Anyone interested in being the next business operator of the Bargara kiosk should send their full name, contact details, relevant experience, and proposed plans for the coffee shop to admin@bundabergslsc.com.au.
The proposed weekly rent is $150, plus electricity and applications will close on July 31.
