Telstra opened a new store at Bundaberg Stockland on Friday, complete with eye-catching displays, interactive experiences and even a recharge station to keep customers connected.

Officially opened by Mayor Jack Dempsey, the new Bundaberg Stockland store is one of eight being rolled out in southern Queensland this year.

Telstra Regional General Manager May Boisen said the new fit-out, complete with dedicated zones for customers to seek advice and experience the latest in technology products, was all part of Telstra’s goal to keep customers connected and thriving.

“The new Bundaberg Stockland store will showcase the future of technology, complete with the latest products and gadgets Telstra has to offer,” Ms Boisen said.

“There is a dedicated lounge for customers to experience how entertainment and smart home products could fit into their own homes, as well as a workshop area where our friendly staff are on hand to answer tricky tech questions face-to-face.

“I have no doubt that Bundaberg customers will very much enjoy the new open-plan environment of our Telstra store and thank them for their patience while we completed the work.”

Ms Boisen said the Bundaberg Stockland store had increased its consultation areas and open floor space through a re-designed floor plan.

She congratulated the project team on their hard work in creating such a beautiful new store and acknowledged staff for their work behind the scenes during the temporary closure.
