Priceline Pharmacy Bundaberg has moved location and the team is celebrating with a grand opening at the old Westpac building site on Bourbong Street.

For more than 15 years, the pharmacy has been providing medical needs to the community, with local co-owners Adam Harradine and Tarin Dobbie working together for the past four-and-a-half years.

Adam said he and Tarin shared close to 40 years of pharmaceutical history between them and they were excited to now open the newly designed and modern Priceline in the heart of the Bundaberg CBD.

“Our lease was coming to an end and we thought the store needed a bit of refurb, so we took the opportunity to move and provide more of a visual appeal,” he said.

“It’s the perfect end of town and it has Priceline’s next gen refit, which is the same as some of the stores in Brisbane and Sydney.”

Adam said the new building offered similar floor space to the previous store, and there were plans to use the second level in the future.

“We now have pharmacist dispensing hubs, which are more patient centred,” he said.

“It’s a similar floor space with the same range and products that we have always had.

“There are plans for upstairs, which will start to happen next year too.”

He said moving the chemist to 98 Bourbong Street allowed the business to increase local staff, and they were all enjoying the new location.

The Priceline Pharmacy Bundaberg grand opening will take place at 10am today and will include prizes, cupcakes and a live broadcast from HitzFM.
