Narla is an 11-month-old Irish wolfhound (mixed) who is looking for her forever home, available for adoption from RSPCA Bundaberg.
A sweet-natured, affectionate and loyal dog, Narla would make a wonderful family dog.
While she is still young and curious, she is very sociable, looking for a family who would let her live indoors with them and include her in activities.
She would prefer a home where her family are there more often than not.
For those alone times, she should settle well after her daily walk plus some
enrichment toys such as frozen kongs or long-lasting chews like paddywack or bones.
She gets along well with other dogs and would be able to fit into a family who may already have a dog.
She is still a youngster and can be quite bouncy at times, therefore a home with slightly older kids is recommended, although she is very keen to learn new behaviours and good manners.
Narla is working hard on her leash skills but can at times be quite strong on the lead, partly due to her enthusiasm for life and her desire to meet and greet everyone!
Ongoing positive reinforcement training will help Narla navigate this world and will allow her to shine.
Secure fencing is essential as is a high quality diet for her developing bones and joints.
Narla’s adoption price is $350 which includes her desexing, health check, microchip, vaccinations as well as up-to-date flea & worm treatments.
