A new wedding directory and magazine produced by locals and featuring local businesses has been launched, encouraging couples to say “we do” in the Bundaberg Region and surrounds.
Crush Bridal has been created by the team behind the region’s premium lifestyle publication, Crush Magazine.
Designed by Larine Statham-Blair and Nikki Sorbello, the purpose of the new bridal directory is to encourage more Queensland couples to marry in Bundaberg, the Fraser Coast, North and South Burnett or the Discovery Coast.
“In much the same way that Crush Magazine encourages local readers to holiday at
home, Crush Bridal will show brides-to-be that they don’t need to look to businesses beyond their backyard to achieve their dream day,” Larine said.
“With restrictions and hesitation on overseas travel, there is an opportunity to market our
remarkable Region as an idyllic wedding destination, drive visitation and grow our
economy.”
Nikki said Crush Bridal’s online directory would be complemented by a Facebook community, as well as an annual printed publication.
“Once a year, we will bring together the best directory members and advertisers, real local
love stories, and insider advice from our online platforms to curate a free, glossy coffee table magazine for readers to enjoy and keep,” Nikki said.
“Prior to launching Crush Bridal, we had many bride’s comment how hard it was to find
suppliers for their wedding, especially for the more intricate parts of the event.
“Together, Crush Bridal Magazine, Crush Bridal Insider and the Crush Bridal Online Directory will take away the overwhelm of ‘where do I start’ and the stress out of planning
a wedding locally.”
Larine said the online directory was now ready for suppliers to sign up and manage their
own listings at crushbridal.com.au.
“We have 24 categories spanning proposal and engagement, showers, bachelor and
hens’ celebrations, the wedding and honeymoon, as well as everything you need to plan
your life together after you are married,” she said.
It’s a celebration of love in the Wide Bay, Burnett and Discovery Coast Regions.”
