Upgrade to floodways in Adies Road, Bucca

Adies Road Bucca
Adies Road in Bucca will be fully closed to traffic during the upgrade to the northern concrete floodway.

Bundaberg Regional Council will soon be undertaking vegetation clearing and an upgrade to the southern floodway on Adies Road, Bucca.

A partial road closure will be in force.

Council will then be upgrading the concrete floodway at the northern end of Adies Road.

These works are planned to commence 21 March 2023.

Adies Road will be fully closed to traffic during the upgrade to the northern concrete floodway.

A detour route will be in operation via Sarnadskys Road, Jones Road and North Bucca.

The detour will be signed accordingly and traffic management measures will be in place to guide motorists.

Weather permitting, all works will be completed within five weeks. Works will be undertaken on weekdays, during the hours of 6 am to 6 pm.

The Site Supervisor will liaise with directly affected properties to facilitate property access during the construction work.

Bundaberg Regional Council is aware of the inconvenience construction work causes and thanks road users in advance for their patience and co-operation.
