Road and drainage works were in full swing across the Bundaberg Region during March, with new pathways, reconstruction projects and more taking place.
In the Bundaberg area, stormwater pipe replacements have been completed in Avoca Street while a new bus stop was constructed in Pitt Street.
Pathway works at Bundaberg North State High School were mostly completed while a Hummock Road upgrade began, with an estimated completion date of June 2023.
In Childers, the Berries Road Reconstruction Project was a focal point in March with the renewal of culverts and other related works.
Crew also undertook reseal prep on Council roads prior to the commencement of Council’s Reseal Programme.
In Gin Gin, resheeting commenced along Mittelheusers Road while the reconstruction of the floodway on Adies Road took place.
