Trojan and Super Hornet to flypast on Anzac Day

Anzac Day flypast Trojan super hornet
There will be a magnificent sight on Anzac Day as a Trojan T-28B and a F/A-18F Super Hornet offer an aerial salute and conduct flypasts in the Bundaberg Region.

Eyes will be to the sky on Anzac Day as a Trojan T-28B and a F/A-18F Super Hornet offer an aerial salute and conduct flypasts in the Bundaberg Region.

Community members attending one of the Bundaberg Region’s Anzac Day Civic Services will witness the Trojan T-28B, contracted by Bundaberg Regional Council, as it conducts a flyover at local services.

The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) F/A-18F Super Hornet will also conduct flypasts at several locations.

Bundaberg Regional Mayor Jack Dempsey said it was a fitting tribute to honour the personnel who served, and continue to serve, Australia.

“Anzac Day is a time to reflect on the contribution made by past and present service men and women who have displayed great courage, discipline, and self-sacrifice in choosing a life of service to their country,” he said.

“It is a time to come together, to take a moment to reflect on those who have fought for us, and also a time to remember the past while we hope for peace tomorrow.

“Members of the community will have the chance to witness the Trojan flyover in an aerial salute during one of the local Anzac Day Civic Services.”
