A group of electric vehicle enthusiasts will be on hand to provide their personal insights at an EV Display and Information Day in Bundaberg on Saturday 15 July.
The Australian Electric Vehicle (EV) Owners Association QLD is hosting the event at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct between 9 am and 6 pm and will feature a range of electric vehicles with owners, electricians and retailers on hand to answer questions.
Organiser John Baldwin said the Bundaberg event followed similar display and information days in Gayndah, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Noosa.
“This is a first and Gympie will be after Bundaberg,” he explained, adding that local owners were encouraged to come along and take part.
“Having owners explain ownership and give factual advice is important.”
The event is free to attend and open to all.
A sausage sizzle and coffee van will be in attendance as well as a lucky draw for visitors.
Local EV owners interested in getting involved should present themselves at the Northern Gate on the day to be directed to the vehicle show area.
