NRL fans are being encouraged to get in quick to purchase tickets for next week's Bundaberg game as the Bulldogs take on the Dolphins at Salter Oval.
Ahead of the premier match, former player James Graham and ex coach/player Terry Lamb have been touring the region to drum up excitement.
James was a prop for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs from 2012 after making his name in the UK Super League.
He played a major role in igniting the Bulldogs' attack as they reached the grand final in his first NRL season and again in 2014.
Terry Lamb played in four premiership-winning teams with Canterbury.
In 1995, he captained the Bulldogs to the premiership and was inducted into the NRL Hall of Fame in 2008.
The duo have been visiting some of the region's businesses and top tourism spots and said they were excited to be offering up another Bundaberg NRL game to the community.
“I think it's a great opportunity for people here in Regional Queensland to come and see some of the game's biggest stars, some heroes of this game,” James said.
“It's two evenly matched teams so you'll see a real competitive game of rugby league.
“And then it's two of the best; one of the best young coaches versus probably the greatest of all time, so plenty of reasons to come and cheer on some heroes and watch some of the best players in the world do their thing.”
The game will kick off at Salter Oval on Sunday 30 July from 2 pm.
This year, Bundaberg Regional Council has worked to include 1400 additional seats, designated accessibility areas and more grandstand seating.
James said it would be an event not to miss.
“Get down there, get your tickets as soon as possible, because you wouldn't want to miss out on this!”
