Drivers and visitors to the Bundaberg CBD may notice traffic disruptions on Barolin Street as maintenance on the shared zone ramp will be underway at the beginning of August.

The maintenance work will be completed to the pedestrian crossing adjacent to Eric Lye Menswear and include removing the existing pavers from the on and off traffic ramps and replacing it with concrete.

The southern exit from Bourbong Street roundabout onto Barolin Street will be closed to all traffic from the evening of Friday 4 August through to Tuesday 8 August, weather permitting.

Traffic management measures and signage will be in place to guide motorists around the site via a detour.

Pedestrians will not be impacted during the ramp maintenance.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise caution and patience while the road closure is in effect, and to plan their journeys accordingly to minimise disruption.
