The Bundaberg Region has over 330 parks, gardens and natural areas to discover, providing plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

Park Finder is a convenient way to search for parks across the region.

The region’s parks provide spaces where the community can keep active and healthy with a range of recreational activities including cycling, walking, beach volleyball and fishing.

There are also playgrounds for the kids to enjoy, fenced off-leash areas to exercise dogs, and workout equipment to add an extra element to fitness routines.

Use the interactive Park Finder map to search by region or address, with more parks being added to the map every year.

There are 12 natural areas across Bundaberg, Childers and Gin Gin, with many of the reserves offering short walks and loop tracks with distances ranging from less than 1 km up to 4 km.

The reserves and nature parks are perfect for bird watching, photography, picnicking and bush walking, and offer visitors a variety of environments to explore.

Bundaberg Regional Council also maintains 21 boat ramps and two pontoons across the region’s coastline and lakes.

The boat ramp interactive map provides information about the available facilities and conditions at each location.
