Set within an enchanting light tunnel amidst the tranquil beauty of the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens, the bespoke Milbi Twilight Table will be a long table dining experience like no other.
The Twilight Table will see diners feast on three courses of delightful fusions showcasing native local flavours and the finest local produce.
An immersive outdoor cooking experience, courtesy of Yagoona BBQs, will see dishes created right before your eyes.
Council’s Arts, Culture and Events portfolio spokesperson Cr John Learmonth said the Milbi Twilight Table had all the dining hallmarks we’ve come to expect from the unique and popular culinary events delivered as part of Council’s major festivals.
“Sitting at the Milbi Twilight Table in the Botanic Gardens surrounded by twinkling fairy lights will be an unforgettable experience,” Cr Learmonth said.
“The entertainment is going to be first-class and the menu featuring local produce and native flavours will be a taste sensation.”
While enjoying the ambience of the garden and an elegant long table set-up, diners will be serenaded by festival favourite Danny Faifai.
After the dinner plates are cleared the dance floor will come alive for a night of celebration.
Danny is well-known for his performances on The Voice as well as an array of other televised performances.
He has previously entertained diners at the Taste Festival Bridge Dinner and performed at the Childers and Milbi Festivals.
Danny will be performing with The Danny Trio for the event and said every time they came to Bundaberg the people were friendly, very receptive and loved to have a good time.
“Audiences can expect world-class performers, singers and fun,” Danny said.
“We’ve been around the world, performed with some of the biggest names in Australia and if you close your eyes for [a] second and listen, you’d swear it was your favourite singer, rapper, or musician.
“Bring your dancing shoes and your singing voice because The Danny Trio will bring the party.”
