More than 25 Bundaberg Region residents have already registered for the national Garage Sale Trail including Meals On Wheels which will host a car boot sale.
Bundaberg Regional Council is proud to be partnering with Garage Sale Trail in 2023, the nationwide community-based initiative which encourages friends and families to embrace sustainability, reduce waste and promote a culture of reuse and recycling.
Over 300,000 Australians shop and sell at over 15,000 garage sales across the country.
Held over two weekends, 11-12 and 18-19 November, the community can get involved and register for one day or all four days of the trail.
Garage Sale Trail information session
The national Garage Sale Trail team is hosting an info session for anyone interested in getting involved who needs more to find out more before they sign up.
The 30-minute session will provide insights for anyone keen to know more about one of Australia’s biggest sustainability events.
During the session any questions participants have about the Garage Sale Trail will be answered.

Meals on Wheels Car Boot Sale
Meals on Wheels jumped on the Garage Sale Trail and is set to host a Car Boot Sale.
Bundaberg Meals on Wheels service manager Brendon Searle said they were expecting around 20 stall holders onsite.
“It’s not only a Car Boot Sale we will also have raffles, craft stalls and a variety of treasurers for keen eyes and those preparing for the silly season,” Brendon said.
“As a not-for-profit we rely on donations and fundraising to ensure our service continues.
“All funds raised from site fees, raffle ticket sales and donations will go towards the improvement of our service, the greatly needed kitchen expansion project currently underway and importantly to those needing our service every day.”
