The final event for Council's free, live beachside concerts takes place at Bob Nielsen Park in Moore Park Beach this weekend, featuring the upbeat coastal sounds of Felipe Baldomir and Harri Bandhu.

The community is invited to make the most of summer on the region’s beautiful beaches at the series of Summer Sundays concerts which have been held every Sunday in January.

The last in this series of family friendly events takes place at Moore Park Beach on 28 January from 2 to 5 pm.

Locals and visitors alike can soak up the sun, enjoy some live music and grab a bite from one of the food stalls available.

Felipe Baldomir

What is your music style?

Upbeat Coastal Indie-Folk, something along those lines.

People often refer to my music as a blend of Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd and Tash Sultana.

My sound travels from the Folk world of open-tunings, harmonica and steady power beats, to an upbeat soundscape of groovy guitar riffs, loops, punchy saxophone runs, synths and vocals.

I’m just having lots of fun writing music that is not limited by one particular genre and just doing my own thing.

What do you enjoy most about performing at events like Summer Sundays?

Outdoor all-ages shows are my favourite shows!

And Summer Sundays is a free event and by the coast which is just unreal!

I can’t wait.

What can audiences expect from your Summer Sundays performance?

Good vibes.

Have you been to the Bundaberg Region before? What did you enjoy most about your visit?

I haven’t been to the Bundaberg Region before, I cannot wait to go explore it!

What are you looking forward to experiencing while visiting in January?

Looking forward to experiencing the Queensland summer vibes and camping on my roadtrip to the festival.

What is your favourite way to spend a summer Sunday?

At the beach surfing and then watching live music in the afternoon- evening.

What is your ultimate summer song?

Currently I’ve had Sweet Disposition by Temper Trap on repeat!
