Bundaberg local Robert Armatys has started his own tinting business called Wide Bay Tinting.
The business will provide Bundaberg and surrounding residents with personal tinting services.
Robert said that Wide Bay Tinting is a small business that will focus on the Bundaberg Region and would put customers first.
āWhatās unique about Wide Bay Tinting is that itās the personal touch, because Iām not a big business I do take the time to make sure each job is up to a certain quality,ā Robert said.
Having started the business in September, Robert has around 15 yearsā experience in the tinting industry.
He said anything thatās got glass could be tinted. Ā
āGenerally, I cover the Wide Bay Burnett region and thatās as far as Gin Gin and Childers, down to Hervey Bay and even Mundubbera,ā he said.
āWeāll do houses, offices and vehicles, basically anything thatās got glass we can tint.ā
Tinting reduces electricity bill
Robert said now was an ideal time to seek out tinting for homes, cars and offices as it reduces glare and heat from the sun.
āThe benefits of tinting is youāll save money for air conditioning and itāll protect your interior furniture from fading or sun damage and thatās the same with the car,” he said.
“It protects them and they donāt deteriorate anywhere near as quickly inside.
āYouāll also find Ā with cars that while your driving the car will stay a lot cooler, every car heats up slowly in the sun but while youāre driving the car will stay a lot cooler.
āItās very similar to solar in that you can get your investment back in a few short years.ā Ā
According to Robert, some automotive windowĀ tintsĀ can reduce glare by up to 90 per cent , while some home window tintingĀ can block over 80 per cent of the heat coming into yourĀ home.
Wide Bay Tinting is at 2/6 Phoebe Crescent, phone 0429 846 816, or visit the website.
