Steven Oliver will be performing his Bigger and Blacker show at the Moncrieff in early December.

Steven Oliver, the star of ABC’s hit television series Black Comedy, is headed to the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre to perform his latest cabaret show Bigger & Blacker on Friday 10 December.

Bigger & Blacker is a comedy cabaret guaranteed to get you laughing, thinking and shimmying in your seats over one action-packed hour of entertainment.

The show combines comedy and contemplation with reflections on love and loss and a candid look at the downside of fame.

As well as being a seasoned performer, Oliver is a talented songwriter whose original score runs from perky pop to urban rap to lilting lullabies.

Steven Oliver said he was looking forward to visiting Bundaberg for the first time and sharing his show that had been performed across Australia.

“This will be my first time to Bundaberg and I am so excited because I love getting out to the regional towns as they deserve to be able to see the same calibre of shows that are performed in the Sydney Opera House and so on,” he said.

“People can expect a bit of a roller-coast performance from me as we go through my journey but then also have fun with all of my original songs.

“There is a lot of laughing but I think people can be surprised it can get a bit personal.”

The show was premiered at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and has since toured around La Boite Theatre in Brisbane, Sydney Opera House and His Majesty’s Theatre International Cabaret Festival.

Tickets for the show are available for purchase here.
