An annual routine inspection and servicing works will shut down Kennedy Bridge to road users this weekend.
Residents are being advised the route through the bridge will be unavailable between the hours of 6am and 6pm on Sunday, 24 February for the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) works.
A signed detour will be in place to assist motorists and pedestrians with the changed conditions.
Pedestrian access will be via the Quay Street pedestrian walkway next to The Rowers Club.
Road users should allow additional time for their journey while the closure is in place.
