A recent All Abilities Alliance meeting provided a valuable opportunity for representatives from a range of organisations to discuss inclusivity in the Bundaberg Region.
Bundaberg Regional Council provided the group with an update on all abilities play equipment and encouraged feedback from service providers, community members, carers and individuals.
Headspace updated the group on its new intervention service for anyone impacted by suicide at any stage in their lives.
The alliance meets bi-monthly and encourages participation and feedback from the community. Contact Council’s Community Development team on 4130 4155.
The purpose of the All Abilities Alliance is to provide an open forum for interested persons in Disability and Mental Wellbeing to identify issues, develop strategies and responses, and share information and resources.
