Some areas of the Bundaberg Region have received welcome rain but overall it's been patchy.
Kullogum near Childers had 49mm in a storm according to the weather bureau and power was disrupted in several areas.
Around Woodgate there were sufficient falls to ease fire conditions, but QFES has a warning for residents to stay informed.
Rainfall reports up to 8.20pm showed the following:
- Gin Gin 22mm
- Splitters Creek 18mm
- Bundaberg 7mm
- Bargara 4mm
Lightning and thunder failed to deliver much rain.
Wednesday's weather forecast is for a sunny morning with a slight chance of a shower in the afternoon and evening.
