The State Government has advised that sections of the Mon Repos Conservation Park will be closed until Friday while hazardous tree removal works are carried out.

In a park alert the Department of Environment and Science advised that the Turtle Information Centre would be closed for three days from today until Friday 21 June.

A section of the Turtle Trail, from Moores Rd to the centre, will also be closed from 7 am Thursday 20 June and Friday 21 June.

“Closed areas will be barricaded from public entry as heavy machinery, plant and equipment may be in use,” the alert stated.

“Observe all signage, barriers and directions from Rangers, and do not enter closed areas.”
