Bundy Flavours 2019 is the event that showcases the delicious flavours of the Bundaberg Region and it's on this Saturday!
It all begins at 7am at Alexandra Park (West) with more than 60 local stallholders ready to display all of their finest produce and food products.
Community and Cultural Services portfolio spokesperson Cr Judy Peters said the event was the perfect place to sample all the best food from paddock to plate and sea to serve.
“We are incredibly lucky to live in such a diverse region, offering up the freshest, tastiest of food from our farms to the ocean and of course, our amazing local breweries,” she said.
“The Bundaberg Region is a giant food bowl and what better way to experience all of our delicious flavours than by coming along to this great event.”
Cr Peters said Bundy Flavours 2019 would feature a farmers market and a range of cooking demonstrations from 7am to 2pm.
“Our Grill Station will be teaching all of those barbecue lovers out there some wonderful barbecuing tips and tricks with renowned chef Alastair McLeod,” Cr Peters said.
“At our Flavours Stage, event goers can expect to learn the tricks of the trade with local businesses including Nourish Cafe and Bundaberg Brewed Drinks as well as a demonstration featuring celebrity chef and food writer Janelle Bloom.”
Cr Peters said the Bundy Flavours 2019 event aimed to promote the very best in local food and beverages.
“Our main focus is on wonderful, fresh food and the many businesses and producers who are doing great things in our region,” she said.
