Acting Sergeant Ryan Thompson is the new relieving Officer in Charge (OIC) of South Kolan Police Station and is keen to get to know the South Kolan community.
Acting Sergeant Thompson was a detective from the Bundaberg Child Protection Investigation Unit (CPIU) and will now be relieving at South Kolan.
He has already been lucky enough to rub shoulders with an A list celebrity – Santa Claus himself, when he assisted with escorting him through South Kolan last Saturday night.
Now he wants to meet his new neighbours in the South Kolan community.
Being such a large area, he recommends community members subscribe to the myPolice Bundaberg page, which he will be actively using to keep community members up to date with what’s happening around town.
