Doris Day
Melinda Schneider is looking for the pawfect pup to join her on stage in A Farewell To Doris when it hits the stage at the Moncrieff next month.

Have you got a cute pooch who is destined for the limelight?

A Farewell To Doris hits the stage on Friday, 19 March at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre and a local four-legged star is needed for part of the performance.

Melinda Schneider will play the lead role in the show, paying tribute to the legendary Doris Day, who passed away earlier in 2019, aged 97.

This nostalgic concert celebration will include timeless hits such as Que Sera, Sera, Sentimental Journey, Everybody Loves a Lover and Secret Love.

Melinda, a six-time CMAA Golden Guitar Award winner, is inviting dogs of all breeds to “pawdition” for a starring role in the show.

The dogs must be obedient, professional, take direction well and be able to smile at the audience!

No previous stage experience is necessary, but ability to walk on stage, jump up on a chair and be sung to, is essential.

If you believe your pooch has what it takes to steal the show, send in a photo and tell explain in 25 words or less why your pup is perfect for the part to management@melindaschneider.com

Melinda herself will be choosing the lucky dog who will accompany her on stage.

The winner will receive two complimentary tickets to the show and a packet of schmackos for their pup.
