
Bundaberg Regional Council will be upgrading the intersection at Wyper Street and Elizabeth Street, Bundaberg South to improve safety in the area.
Work is planned to commence late September and will be undertaken weekdays, during the hours of 6.30am and 5pm.
Weather permitting, work will be completed within eight weeks.
During construction, sections of the roads will be closed and subject to traffic management measures.
Signage will be in place to guide motorists through or around the site.
The Wyper and Elizabeth Streets intersection upgrade is funded with support from the Australian Government Black Spot Programme.
