Bundaberg Distilling Company and Bundaberg Ginger Beer have teamed up to introduce a brand new product called Bundaberg Alcoholic Ginger Beer, crafted with real ingredients by locals, for locals.

Bundaberg Alcoholic Ginger Beer is craft brewed in Bundaberg over three days, using locally grown fresh ginger and freshly cut white Queensland cane spirit for a zesty ginger bite and refreshing taste.

Duncan Littler, Bundaberg Distilling Company Marketing and Experience Manager, said the business was excited about working with Bundaberg Ginger Beer to bring their delicious, market leading non-alcoholic ginger beer to a new category.

“We know the Alcoholic Ginger Beer category is growing rapidly and nobody is better placed than two local Aussie icons to introduce the best Alcoholic Ginger Beer made by locals for locals with real ingredients to more Aussies,” he said.

John McLean, CEO of Bundaberg Ginger Beer, said the company had a long history of sharing drinks with their great mates at Bundaberg Distilling Company.

“We are thrilled to be collaborating with them on creating an alcoholic version of Australia’s favourite Ginger Beer,” he said.

“Aussies have been asking for this for a long time. We believe our 53-year history of brewing Australia’s favourite Ginger Beer, using locally sourced ingredients, paired with Bundaberg Distilling Company’s 133-years of distilling is a match made in flavour heaven.”

Bundaberg Alcoholic Ginger Beer is available to purchase nationally in independent bottle shops starting in early November 2021 and available nationwide in all leading liquor stores early in 2022 in a 4 x 375ml can pack, 4.0% ABV, RRP $21.99.
