Sportspower Bundaberg reopens with new look

Sportspower Bundaberg has reopened after a nine-day closure for renovations.

Sportspower Bundaberg has reopened its doors after nine days of renovations to the existing site.

The facelift was finished in time for the bustling Christmas period which owners Gail and Mick Pimm said would give shoppers access to the biggest and best sporting brands.

“We have all of the big brands and, more importantly, the best service with our locally employed team who are knowledgeable and will work hard to find the right fit every time,” Gail said.

Sportspower Bundaberg is a locally owned and operated team, employing 10 people and choosing to invest in a new, innovative and competitive shopping experience for locals.

They said the renovation had supported many local businesses by sourcing local contractors to do the job, which was always a priority for Mick and Gail.

“We run a small, family owned business and we know the importance of finding local suppliers and supporting local service providers first and foremost,” Mick said.

Local tradies to benefit from the renovation included Mark Haster Painting, Wide Bay IT, Rechenberg Security, Dale Christensen (builder), Simon Rhebein from Sytech cabling, Floor Me and Steve Richter for computing systems.

Mick and Gail said bringing a fresh, new national concept to their Sportspower store would help them to remain competitive in a tough and often bustling market while providing the best shopping experience around.

Sportspower Bundaberg has been at the 233 Bourbong Street address for over two decades.
