School holiday activities continue across the region.

If you are looking for activities to keep kids busy for the remainder of the school holidays, Bundaberg Regional Council’s school holiday program is still running.

From escape rooms at the libraries to exploring the Botanic Gardens, there is something for everyone with both indoor and outdoor activities on offer.

New escape rooms are continuing to rotate through Childers, Gin Gin and Bundaberg libraries to ensure no one misses out on trying the unique holiday activity.

You can find out more about the escape rooms and their different themes here.

At Childers Historical Complex on Tuesday, 18 January there will be a Teddy Bears Picnic with games, singing, and dancing as well as teddy competitions for the best dressed, cutest, oldest, and most loved.

If you are looking to get outdoors, the Gardens Holiday Booklet is also back at the Botanic Gardens, with a number of activities for kids to complete while exploring the gardens.

Alexandra Park Zoo is also open from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm, seven days a week until Tuesday, 25 January before reverting back to usual opening hours.

Storytime with Deano Yipadee is also an online resource available for parents to make use of at home, with lots of rhymes, stories and fun to enjoy in each episode that can be watched repeatedly during the summer holidays.

You can find the full school holiday program here to find out what is on offer.

*Please note, the Outdoor Art Room events scheduled for next week have been cancelled.
