Moore Park Beach Scout group leader Jim “Wombat” Harrop says the group's favourite recipe is an apple crumble and custard treat.

Wombat says the treat is usually cooked in a Dutch oven over a campfire but it works just as well in the oven at 160 degrees, baked until golden.

Apple crumble and custard cooked in Dutch oven

Bake 20mins at 160 degrees or place in a dutch oven with lid on and cover with coals.
