Bundaberg Regional Council will soon install a shade sail at Elliott Heads Esplanade playground, located next to the community hall.
The first stage of the project will involve installing the shade sail posts between Tuesday, 19 April and Friday 22 April 2022.
A vacuum truck will be used to excavate the holes for the posts and will generate some noise, Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
During this time the playground will be fenced off for safety reasons.
Once the concrete has set the fence will be removed.
The shade sail will be installed on Thursday 19 May.
The project is funded under Council’s Parks, Sport and Natural Areas Capital Works Program 2021- 2022.
