A Bundaberg man was so shocked he’d won more than $40,000 in Saturday’s Super 66 Lotto draw, he nearly spat out his cup of tea.

It comes just days after a Bargara woman won $1.6 million on Keno.

The Central Queensland resident held one of the two division one winning entries in Super 66 draw 4253 on Saturday 23 April 2022. Each division one winning entry scored $40,690.55.

Confirming his wonderful win with an official from The Lott, the elated winner said he couldn’t wait to share his prize with friends and family who had done it tough during the past couple of years.

“This really is an incredible blessing,” he said.

“My wife and I were sitting down having a cup of tea last night and I thought I’d check my ticket, but I had no expectations that I’d win anything.

“Occasionally I’ll win a few dollars, but when I saw $40,000 I was shocked!

“I’m going to share it with friends and family. A lot of people have been doing it tough so it’s nice to be able to help and share the love around.

“We’ve been travelling around the country for a number of years now., We lead a great life and this is the cherry on top.”

The Aussie traveller purchased his 50-game QuickPick entry online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The winning numbers in Super 66 draw 4253 on Saturday 23 April 2022 were 7, 9, 8, 1, 3, 4.

Super 66 is an add-on game played with Saturday Gold Lotto, Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto, Oz Lotto and Powerball.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 374 so far this financial year, including 82 won by Golden Casket customers.
