Kim said he was excited to return after previously touring through Bundaberg about a decade ago.

“It's exciting to be coming back!” he said.

“I've been really traipsing up and down the Queensland coast a lot over the last few years, but Bundaberg is a town I haven't had the chance to get back to.

“I'm super keen to make some new memories!”

Kim will provide earthy beats and share his stories with the audience at the popular Milbi Festival afternoon of Tucker + Tunes.

“I'm a one-man band with a lot of energy and a bunch of open-hearted stories,” Kim said.

“With any luck, you're going to laugh and cry and have a good dance.”

Arts, Culture and Events portfolio spokesperson Cr John Learmonth said Tucker + Tunes was a resounding success at its inauguration during last year’s Milbi Festival.

“The popular Tucker + Tunes makes a return this year with Australian artist Kim Churchill, and tickets are sure to sell-out fast,” he said.

“Kim will bring a fantastic stage presence as guests dine on a delicious canapes-style menu by the Taribelang Aboriginal Corporation while enjoying an afternoon dancing into the sunset.

“This is just one of the many fantastic events in this year’s Milbi Festival program.”

Kim said he looked forward to spending some time in the Bundaberg Region during the Milbi Festival.

“The gig and the festival are particularly exciting to me,” Kim said.

“I'm super keen for some tips on what I should get up to while I'm in the area.

“To those reading this – hit me up in social media land and let me know what's fun and beautiful!”
