The Youth Development Action Team (YDAT) was created to work in partnership with Bundaberg Regional Council to assist in identifying issues the young people of the region are experiencing.
YDAT members learn project management skills through all youth-led activities they undertake.
All Youth Development Action Team activities and projects are supported by the Community Development Strategy, which provides an overarching framework for YDAT action in the community to promote inclusion, participation, accessibility and connectivity.
YDAT is open to those between ages 12 to 25 years old.
Youth Development Action Team members:
- Represent the youth of the Bundaberg Region on important issues going through parliament
- Discuss matters with your local councillors
- Make submissions to both State and Federal Governments
- Create positive change in the region
