Australian rock band 1927 have hit the road for a mammoth national tour and they will land on stage in Bundaberg next month.
From the golden era for Australian rock bands to reinvigorating fans today, 1927 is a national treasure that has been entertaining audiences for 35 years.
Having stood the test of time 1927 has earned its place as icons of the Australian music scene and the band is set to wow the rock music lovers of community at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre, with special guest Jason Singh.
Jason has been entertaining audiences and touring the world for over two decades as a singer, songwriter and original founding member of the ARIA Award winning band, Taxiride.
Longest serving 1927 band member Erik Weiderman said the local community would be treated to an evening of surprise.
“Whatever you think you’re going to see and hear is not what you’re going to see and hear,” Erik said.
“If you have not seen this version of 1927 perform these songs live, well, I won’t say you’re in for a shock, you’re in for a treat!”
1927 are best known for hits including ‘That’s When I Think of You’, ‘Compulsory Hero’, ‘To Love Me’, ‘Scars’, and, of course, ‘If I Could’,
They became a household name overnight with their debut album ‘…ish’ in 1988.
‘…ish’ went five- times platinum, stayed in the ARIA chart for 46 weeks, selling an excess of 400,000 copies, and won ARIA’s for best debut single and album.
