Work had started on Woongarra Scenic Drive, Baragara.

Bundaberg Regional Council will complete a pedestrian crossing upgrade on Woongarra Scenic Drive, Bargara adjacent to the Carlyle Gardens Bus Stop.

Work started in mid-October and will be undertaken on weekdays, between 6 am and 5 pm.

Council anticipates the work will be completed within five weeks, weather permitting.

The crossing upgrade will improve safety and access for pathway and public transport users.

During construction of the pedestrian crossing upgrade, the road will be subject to traffic management measures and detours, with appropriate signage in place to guide motorists.

Bundaberg Regional Council is aware of the inconvenience construction work causes and thanks residents and road users in advance for their patience and co-operation.

If you have concerns in relation to the upgrade works, please contact Council’s Engineer on 1300 883 699 or email civilworks@bundaberg.qld.gov.au
